About edio

edio is a learning technology and education delivery company founded in 2007 and based in Cheltenham. We specialise in entrepreneurship education and deep technology commercialisation training for universities and public institutions across the UK and internationally.

Our work sits at the intersection of learning design, subject-matter expertise in entrepreneurship and commercialisation, and practical programme delivery. We're not a consultancy that writes reports about education — we design, build, and deliver the programmes ourselves.

Christopher Pett

Christopher Pett is the founder and director of edio. Before focusing on education, he founded and scaled ventures himself — experience that informs how edio approaches entrepreneurship training. He has worked in entrepreneurship education and technology commercialisation for over fifteen years, with a focus on programme design and delivery for research-intensive universities. He leads edio's client relationships and programme development.

How we work

edio assembles project teams from a network of specialist collaborators matched to the requirements of each engagement. Depending on the project, a team might include instructors, coaches, and facilitators; learning designers; production associates for video and graphics; or technology development specialists.

This gives clients access to specific domain expertise without the overhead of a large permanent team. The people who work on your programme are chosen because they're the right fit for what it needs, not because they happen to be on staff.
