This page explains what personal information the edio website handles, and what happens to it. The short version: very little, and nothing without a reason.
Who we are
Edio Education Ltd is the data controller for this website, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. We are registered in England, company number 06396612, at Festival House, Jessop Avenue, Cheltenham, GL50 3SH. You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@edio.co.uk.
When you email us
If you contact hello@edio.co.uk, we receive your email address, your name if your email includes it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to carry on the conversation you started. Enquiry emails are stored in our email system and are not shared with anyone else. We keep correspondence for as long as it stays useful to the relationship, and delete it when it isn’t.
When you subscribe to articles
The subscribe form on our articles page asks for your first name and email address. Subscribing is your consent; we send you new articles and occasional related writing, no more than monthly. The list is held and processed by Loops, our email service provider. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We do not share the list with anyone.
Analytics
This site uses Framer’s built-in analytics, which are anonymised and cookieless. No personal data is collected, no profile of you is built, and nothing follows you elsewhere. This is why the site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Who processes data for us
Three services handle data on our behalf: Framer hosts the site and provides its anonymised analytics; Loops holds the newsletter list; and Microsoft provides our email. Each processes data only on our instructions.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to our use of it, and ask for a copy. Email hello@edio.co.uk and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. We won’t do anything with your data that this page doesn’t describe.
